A Contrast Adjustment DCTL with visual pivot on IRE

Hey everyone, I am Senthil. I have been quite invested in color grading and color science for a considerable amount of time now. I was thrilled to know we could write programs (DCTLs) for Davinci Resolve through Thatcher Freeman's YouTube. I have made a few and more are on the way.

My joy for programming started more than decade back in the Android rooting and Reverse Engineering era at XDA. DCTLs and Plugins are bringing that joy back to me. The ability to contribute to a community is something I have always cherished.

So, I have made a Contrast Pivot and Adjustment tool. It basically has a ,

Pivot Point and a Low Adjustment and High Adjustment around the pivot.
Additionally, there is a
Black Point and White Point

Right now it creates a smooth S curve, but I am planning to add more functions that alter the shape of the curve.
However the highlight of this tool is its
SHOW MIDDLE SELECTION which when enabled will show the specified IRE level on the Pivot Point slider on your viewer.

It also has a Show Ramp Feature

This has helped me so much when creating low contrast soft looks, or managing unavoidable dark spots in an around the middle exposure area.
I have mostly used this in DWG/DI, should work in other color spaces too, if it does not, let me know and we can fix it.

You can download them from my GitHub : RenderHub DCTLs.
I will update them regularly on GitHub. If you like the product you can support me by purchasing the same version from my Website.

As a sister product of this, there is a math heavy version which calculates Middle Gray of a shot in real-time and outputs the value to a screen. I will update more details soon if you are interested. Thanks for reading, Cheers.
