Wanted to share this here. We released our v3.0 update to DigiDiff, our diffusion plugin for Resolve.
This update adds several new features:
Diffusion Tint:
You can now tint your diffusion using two color models— Hue & CCT.
Hue allows you to match colored lights in your scene or create abstract looks.
CCT allows you to tint your diffusion along a blackbody radiation curve allowing you to dial in exact kelvin values of warmth. This effectively allows colorists to emulate diffusion filters that add warmth to the image.
DiffBoost:
DiffBoost allows you to amplify the diffusion to brighter areas of your image while leaving your shadows and midtones untouched, which is great for creating "thicker" diffusion that doesn't muddy up the rest of your image.
We've also added 7 new presets that we profiled from real world filters.
