The server that hosts our forum receives nightly Linux updates for security and other patches. The last two evenings (Pacific Time) we experienced issues that caused the site to display a "Mysqli Malformed communication packet error" that some of you may have run into.
According to our support people it has been resolved and we should be all set now. Thinking realistically, it may occur again. My apologies if it does, and my hope is an upcoming patch will resolve it permanently. Thanks for your patience in the mean time.
