Hey folks, I have a Wacom Intuos coming in today from Amazon. Does anyone have any experience using it as a mouse replacement in the Fusion page (or Fusion Studio)? Specifically, I'm concerned about middle-button functionality, as there are only 2 buttons on the pen. I'm using the DR Studio version if that make a difference. 19.4 on my Windows desktop computer, and 20.1 on my Windows laptop.

Watching a Darren Mostyn video made me want to get it, but he's mostly a colorist.
I found this video. It's not the same model, but the button functionality should (I hope) be similar.
Per Darren's color suite tour updated video (Dec 2024) he has switched from Wacom to a Xencelabs tablet.
I recommend watching Youtube reviews on the Xencelabs tablets as some users reported long term issues.
I have the second button on my Wacom pen as the middle click. Wacom>mouse
Clicking with the pen is left click, + 2 buttons for middle click and right click.
You can customize the pen buttons in the Wacom settings to your heart's content.

Not only you can customize the stylus buttons, you can customize the tablet buttons, and customize them for a specific app. If you're using Fusion inside Resolve then the only thing is that you would not have the ability to customize for Fusion specifically. If you are using the standalone Fusion, then you would be able to be more specific. You can also make settings files and load them for specific tasks. It only takes a couple of seconds to load the settings file.

Yeah, I've been deep-diving into articles and videos since I got it. There are so many awesome options!!! I also returned it to Amazon... It's just too small. I'll be ordering the 2025 Intuos Pro. Still not sure if I want the medium or large. I'm using a dual monitor system, so that why I'm considering the large.
There is definitely a ratio of tablet size to the pixel count to watch for. I'm more used to larger tablets, the past 12x12 ones. I don't know how the new ones are measured. The new models are deceiving a bit, they are physically large, but have relatively smaller active area compared with the older models. Intous 3 is my favorite generation. I own several of those and some older ones too. I don't like the side keys on the newer models. They are harder to feel in the dark, less tactile. Intuos 3 still sort of works with the older driver in Windows 11. The slide strip no longer works. macOS doesn't play nice with the older driver. There is an open source driver but it's missing support for the slide strip.
Lol I did the same thing. Thought the small one would be fine, then tried using it across two monitors and immediately boxed it back up.

Because of your post I decided to go after an open driver and I found the OpenTabletDriver which brought my 14 years old Intuos 5 Touch back to life on MacOS Tahoe!
