What's everyone hoping for at NAB?

Check my previous post, the PDF seems to be accurate. I think this was a bit of a Marketing mix-up, using images from an older model, maybe? The PDF seems to match the video reviews I've seen online in the last couple of days
I think they downgraded the original concept of the new Micro panel after seeing how much better it was from the first generation and how it could potentially affect the Mini panel sales. I very much prefered they'd kept the functions from that video frame, like the HDR pallete, the qualifier and the FX controls. Not that the definitive version is not good per se (I myself am looking forward to replace my current Micro by the new one for portability, size and functions), but it clearly would have much higher value if it was released with that button layout.

That adapter costs almost as much as the panel! Adapters are just potential points of failure. Sure, they'll get you from point A to point B, but when it dies or starts to act flaky, it's just one more thing to have to debug.
I'm just telling you what the big shops do. I have never, ever seen a USB -> Ethernet adapter fail (short of a power failure). I'm close enough to my Mac that I can run well under 16 feet, which is the normal USB limit. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate going with Cat5... and I'm prepared for that to keep us running. Trivial expense for a business.

No need for such an expensive extender. I am using Mini panel without problems with cheapo USB to CAT5 extender from Amazon. Also works for streamdeck and wireless mouse & keyboard.
I took my advice from @Dwaine Maggart, BMD Product Apps Engineer, who I trust with my life. There's an Icron Ranger 2304 set up for $115 right this second on eBay. But buy what you think is right -- go in the direction that works for you.

The Eizo Prominence CG1 has nothing really new compared to the CG3146. The Sony BVM-HX 3110 looks more inventive.

What's the point of getting 12-bit input signal through HDMI if the panel is 10-bit only?

And now when we’we seen it, it yet again shows that reading specs isnt worth much.
The CG1 is a very big jump forward.
